Job Summary & Purpose:                                                     

  •  The Hairstylist is responsible for creating, developing and enhancing their client’s personal appearance and features.
  • This role interacts face-to-face with customers, simultaneously providing customer service, personal services, promoting / selling beauty products to customers and drawing attention through demonstration.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible to perform all hair and makeup services as per spa standard.

Primary Duties: 

  • Holistic responsibility for the whole Project Management Process (PMP) by overseeing each assigned Project from “award of tender” to “substantial completion”, ie; from beginning till the receipt of Project Completion Certificate from the respective Client/ Customer.
  • Must serve as the point of contact for Clients/ Customers, Sub-Contractors and other external agencies on project management matters and handling of all inflow and outflow correspondence with all concerned.
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. Preparing capital expenditure budgets for the Project Management and once approved, must ensure strict adherence to decided budget.
  • Responsible for Project accounting functions including managing the budget of all expenses, tracking of team expenses, minimizing exposure and risk in each project and controlling the project cost within the estimated cost for the project. Must monitor, maintain and improve the profitability of all assigned projects.
  • Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. Any such issues or areas that we believe may lead to a problem later on, or may be subject to differing interpretations, should be discussed with all concerned. However, to really add value, must identify possible downfalls and on the same time must come up with creative and attractive solutions to enable work to go ahead, albeit with less risk.
  • Responsible to request approval from Client/ Customer for drawings/ documentations/ time schedule/ procedures / materials/ method statements etc. Accordingly, monitoring and approving the master schedule of engineering, procurement of raw materials, fabrication and delivery in co-ordination with all concerned, after technical/economical assessment. Equally responsible to control the ordering of raw materials as per the contract and re-conciliation of each project from time to time.
  • Reviewing the scope of work within the contract in co-ordination with the Contracts Manager and must provide necessary assistance to the Contracts Dept. team in invoice preparation, submission to Clients/ Customers, follow up for getting payment certificate and to ensure timely payment for the smooth cash flow.
  • In case of any variations, responsible to identify the reason behind the same and must bring to the notice of the higher officials for further action. Equally responsible to provide needed backing to the Contracts Dept. personnel in preparation of variation claims till the finalization stage.
  • During the award of each project, a kick of meeting to be arranged internally with those Dept. personnel involved directly in the project management process, to ensure a clear understanding of all requirements of project performance. This meeting will serve as an excellent tool to clarify and resolve the potential misunderstandings, if any; and to make sure that all the concerned Dept. personnel are fully aware of the project requirements.
  • Must be responsible to prepare the minutes of each meeting (both external and internal) for the project file which details the topics covered. The minutes should include areas requiring resolution, a list of participants, and in particular, those individuals’ assigned responsibilities for further action and the due dates for those actions. Copies of the meeting minutes should be distributed to all attendees and must forward a copy of the same to the reporting authority.
  • Develop and implement procedures for project management and administration in compliance with Company Policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies through the proper channel.
  • Must ensure that the progress of all the Projects is in accordance with the mutually agreed contract terms, to ensure timely delivery of finished products. Equally, responsible to monitor compliance by the Company employees with the established contract terms and conditions. Any unacceptable level of deviation noticed, must be intimated to the concerned officials, especially if the non-performance as per the contract terms may trigger service penalties and, depending on its seriousness, must provide necessary escalation. Each event should be fully recorded and, once resolved, investigated and action to be taken to prevent any reoccurrence in future. Must maintain a close liaison in this regard with the Contracts Manager.
  • Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each team members and assign individual responsibilities. Monitor the progress of the project activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with the team.
  • Responsible to monitor the site erection activities and must ensure that all necessary resources are made available to the site as per the Project requirement. Equally responsible to make sure that the steel works handed over to the site are in accordance with the specifications of the Project.
  • Must ensure that the site management team is conversant with the safety plan and are aware of appropriate safety precautions. Responsible for the day to day erection activities and must maintain strict adherence to high quality standards and laid HSE requirements.
  • Responsible to co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project and must direct the team members during the execution of work, keeping track of errors happened in engineering, fabrication and all related processes.
  • Must ensure presence in technical and commercial co-ordination meetings related to all assigned projects.
  • Must execute and monitor production schedules and progress of all the packages at an overall level in co-ordination with Planning Dept. Head, QA/QC Engineers, Project Engineers and Sub-Contractors.
  • Monitors the issuance of latest version of CIF (Contract Information Form)/ Change Order, detailed drawings to and from Client and respective Departments.
  • Plans for the training programs to enhance the skills of the project management personnel.
  • Conduct weekly meetings involving all other Depts. for progress review.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Contracts Dept. Head to review the progress of payment receipt process.
  • Develops new subcontractors to get competitive prices and best quality in co-ordination with Procurement Dept. Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Monitoring the sub-contractors’ progress and performance to ensure that their services conform to the project requirements and if any deviations noticed, must be intimated to the concerned officials. If performance monitoring indicates an unacceptable level of non-compliance, then must initiate for immediate corrective action in consultation with Contracts Manager, if necessary.
  • Monitoring sub-contractor activities regularly to identify problem areas. Schedule meetings with the sub-contractor on a regular basis to review progress, discuss problems and consider necessary changes, after having a discussion with all concerned. Responsible for the issuance of payment certificates for release of sub-contractors’ payments.
  • Reviews and issues proposal of project cash flow. Equally, responsible to update the Project Master Schedule and issues the reports to Management on weekly basis.
  • Reviews and issues the updated Financial Status Reports to the Management on monthly basis.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, high quality standards and laid HSE policies and must ensure that project activities are moving in accordance to the predetermined schedule.
  • Oversee the performance of the Dept. personnel, and must promote co-operation & team work and leads by example. Must ensure that the whole project management process and related documentations are complying with IMS requirements.
  • Co-ordinates with other concerned departments regarding any related activities.
  • Final signature on any project related documents released from the Projects Department, in discussion with the reporting authority.
  • Maintains good relationships with internal functional groups and external agencies.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for design of projects assigned to team  and timely production of structural steel fabrication (shop) drawings.
  • Optimum utilization of resources (both human & technical) to achieve the quality of design and drawings, confirming to job specifications.
  • Directing the design and detailing team so as to achieve the targets.
  • Initiates tasks in line with company strategy and in response to the requirements directed by the authorized personnel or from other concerned departments.
  • Review and confirm the design calculations along with GA drawings for assigned project prior to the submission to client / consultant for approval.
  • Assigning the projects to the concerned personnel, sets individual and group targets, and monitors compliance with project requirement schedules.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the department.
  • Providing technical support to the Engineering team and thereby guiding and assisting the subordinates to achieve the targets.
  • Prioritizing and co-ordinating with the engineering team regarding the issuance of fabrication (shop) drawings to feed the workshop from time to time.
  • Reviewing all claims / variations in case of revisions in designs & drawings and the same has to be highlighted to Project team.
  • Provides support in review of the major projects and for any technical queries of the Estimation Department during the contract negotiation period, if required.
  • Prompt and effective response to queries in drawings released for manufacturing.
  • Monitors and reviews all relevant technical information on a regular basis based on latest revisions or changes in products, operating systems and policies.
  • Communicates to all concerned regarding the revisions in specifications, if any.
  • Reviews and evaluates ongoing and finished tasks; approves the same for implementation.
  • Co-ordination with clients / consultants for approval of assigned project’s design / engineering issues.
  • Closely follow up with Engineering team, Engineering/ Project Co-ordinators and Sub-contractors for the smooth functioning of the projects.
  • Co-ordinates with other concerned departments regarding any related activities.
  • Final sign-off on any specifications and technical drawings released by the Engineering Department, on behalf of the reporting authority.
  • Final sign-off on any new designs and products from the Department, on behalf of the reporting authority.
  • Recommendatory authority for the purchase of engineering software.
  • Promotes co-operation & team work and leads by example.
  • Maintains good relationships with internal functional groups and external customers.
  • Any miscellaneous duties as specified by the management from time to time.
