Title: Sr. Procurement Engineer

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 15000 + Mandatory Benefits

Note: Due to business reasons Hiring Manager will give higher preference to candidates with 5+ years of U.A.E experience

  • To promote a collaborative, client focused, quality and result oriented approach in the Procurement Unit.
  • Responsible for suppliers and subcontractors coordination.
  • Prepares technical and commercial data and information for obtaining quotations.
  • Prepares and follows up approvals for project submittals.
  • Obtains samples and follow-up approvals with creating database for all material and coded submittals.
  • Produces Materials Schedules with required lead times for take-off, quotation, cost appraisal, and purchase order with delivery periods.
  • Prepares bid tabulation.
  • Reviews Purchase Orders, follows up and ensures timely purchase and arrival of goods.
  • Scrutinizes the specifications of material and approvals on requisitions.
  • Civil Engineering Graduate
  • Overall 8 years of experience, with minimum 5 years or more of UAE experience.
  • Experience in working with large contractors

Fundamentals:

To be successful in this role, you must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English with associates, guests, and management.  You must be able to deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. We always look for candidates with stable career line. Candidates must have worked with one of the ex-employers for minimum 2+ years. Candidates must be willing/ready to provide any two contact persons’ details (from any of the ex-employers) for  reference check.
